Jun26 Atheism Kills(But So Does Religion)

I’m tired of having people point fingers at leaders and then saying they did what they did due to their religious status. Some people will blame all the large genocides on the atheists, while others blame it on religious leaders. Both groups are guilty. I don’t like people making this connection, as I don’t really see it.

Those who think atheists are more likely to murder base it off an atheist’s view that life after death is nonexistent and that there is no point to any of it. The religious justification is following Divine orders or perhaps that destruction is a sign of the coming of Jesus.

Every human has the potential to be bad. There are bad atheists and good Christians. There are bad Muslims and good atheists. There are bad Jews and good Muslims. There are good Jews and bad Christians. I could go on and on like this as each group has its own share of the morally corrupt and those who aren’t. To try and explain somebody’s actions solely on their religious affiliations and to then use that as an example for the rest of the group is foolish. Please think before you go about projecting your stereotypical views upon others.

Nov16 Gay Puerto Rican Teen Decapitated “Got What He Deserved”

He was found on the site of an isolated road in the city of Cayey, he was partially burned, decapitated, and dismembered, both arms, both legs, and the torso.

When I saw this story, all I said was holy shit. I was in shock not only at the crime committed, but by the way the police investigator completely condoned it.

Over the weekend the brutalized body of gay teen George Steven Lopez Mercado was found by the side of a road in Puerto Rico. The police investigator suggested that he deserved what he got because of the “type of lifestyle” he was leading.

Excuse me, but what the FUCK? This is not just assuming that’s what he meant, look at exactly what was said:

The police agent that is handling this case said on a public televised statement that ‘people who lead this type of lifestyle need to be aware that this will happen’.

So basically if you are gay, you deserve to be burned, decapitated and dismembered. It is just an inherit risk you have to accept with this so called “life choice”. Bullshit. They need to remove this man from the case, NOW. I cannot see any way for true justice to be served with this bigot running the investigation. The crime is an atrocity, but if the culprit gets away with it another atrocity has been committed. I really wish people could just get along. Differences do not make others wrong, they should unite us as humans. No lesbian, gay, transsexual, bisexual person can be called any less of a human than any other. Please spread this story, I am absolutely appalled.

Sep02 Lets All Pray For Presidential Brain Cancer!

Some of you may remember the major league asshole Steven Anderson.

Copyright ABC

Recently he has gotten a bunch of attention for a sermon titled “Why I Hate Barack Obama”. Here is a great quote from all that:

“I’m not gonna pray for his good. I’m going to pray that he dies and goes to hell.”

Very Christan of him. Now when most people fuck up, they try to rectify the problem. Apparently this guy is wayyyyyyy to good for all that. On Sunday he made this comment:

I hope that God strikes Obama with brain cancer so he can die like Ted Kennedy. You know, and I hope it happens today.

Wishing BRAIN CANCER on somebody. Isn’t that atleast slightly fucked up? They let this asshole be a pastor? While this might not be what every Christian thinks, he still is a representative of Christianity. Also, he uttered this sentiment during an interview with FOX. So of course you can watch the clip in all its glory:

So just being a douchebag and praying for the president to “melt like a snail” or calling him a “murderer” isn’t enough. I’m pretty sure that doesn’t go along very well with the whole love theme of their religion. Also, his flock was quick to defend this bullshit too. The man who brought an AR-15 to Obama’s speech had this to say:

“I concur, I think we’d be better off if God would send (Obama) where he’s going now instead of later, (Obama) is destroying our country.”

What the Hell is wrong with these people? I don’t even wish death on Christians. Here is some good evidence that religion is dangerous and really not healthy.

Jul03 Catholic Church says Rape is better than abortion.

Today while stumbling along the internets I ran along an article that just seemed incredibly insane. A nine year old girl was given an abortion after her stepfather impregnated her. In Brazil, abortion is illegal so a team of doctors performed it for her. Here is the quote:
“When told about the incident, Archbishop Don Jose Cardoso Sobrinho of Recife excommunicated the doctor, the child’s mother, and the medical team involved in the procedure. The abusive stepfather was not excommunicated because, according to Sobrinho, “A graver act than rape is abortion, to eliminate an innocent life.”
(Full article at: http://tinyurl.com/baltml)
There’s no way I am the only one who doesn’t see this as crazy right? The rape might be bad, but the abortion is unforgivable. What the fuck? So its okay for men to rape young girls, but if the daughter doesnt want to carry the burden of the child and probably would die in the birth of and have no way to provide care for said child she is going straight to hell. This is why I hate religion, this dumbass stuff is a disgrace to everything about being human. How can ANYONE ignore the fact that she was raped? And the lives for those children couldn’t have been good, born into poverty, and a constant reminder of the pain and hardship. Maybe they could have been put up for adoption but I have no idea what the adoption policy is in the country of Brazil.
“Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, head of the Catholic Church’s Congregation for Bishops, said that the case was sad, but that “the real problem is that the twins conceived were two innocent persons, who had the right to live and could not be eliminated.”
I support abortion but even if I didnt this is one situation where I would make an exception.
Absolutely insane. So is the way of the religious.
