I won't give a penny of my money to the SA, or any other religious “charity”. Most of them fund bigotry and/or oppression of others in one form or another. I prefer to give my money and goods to charities that simply help people rather than dishing out dogma as well, or as a condition for services.

I was looking into this, and it seems that anti-choice organizations are also boycotting the Salvation Army because they are “associated” with Planned Parenthood. However, I have failed to find ANYTHING connecting the two groups. Needless to say, my money is going to secular charities.
