According to Truth-Saves.com, its pretty simple to test exactly how devout a Christian is:
Luke 6:30 “Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.”
According to Luke 6:30 a true Christian must give you anything you ask for from them. If you take something, they are not allowed to ask for it back.
Try asking a Christian for their car, money or shoes and see if they follow Jesus’ word. Try taking something insignificant and quote Luke 6:30 if they ask for it back.
This is just another example of a Bible quote nobody really follows.
Except then we have the same people who would never follow this one trying very hard to skew the context of other verses to their liking such as the infamous Leviticus 18:22. And most “true” Christians also seem to convieniently ignore the real good ones like stoning disobedient children and such. If this book truly was the”word of God”, why is it we have to pick and choose verses out of it to make it work? If He wrote it, all the texts inside comply all the time. You can’t just pick a few of “God’s teachings” and throw out what you don’t like. Religion is just one big book crazy club, and many people seem to have quite a problem putting their books down.
